Health Care
We care for the sick through establishing and building healthcare facilities and training local healthcare workers who provide moral, physical and spiritual support to the community.
• Improve Health Care : On many important measures of health, people in rural areas are in poorer health than their urban counterparts. Rural populations, including children, are less likely to have good access to doctors and hospitals. The more isolated a rural community, the more difficult it is to ensure the availability of needed health care services. A fundamental challenge facing rural communities is stabilizing, sustaining, and strengthening access to affordable quality health care. Rural communities face shortages of health practitioners, making it a challenge for those with health complications and illnesses to get the care they need. We will attract health practitioners (doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals) to rural communities by encouraging them to give back to society by saving lives in rural communities.
• Expand Community Clinics : To promote access to preventive, diagnostic and other primary care services. We will encourage others in the communities to give as much as they can by involving them in the construction process. We will look for capital funds for the building and start-up costs of community health centers. Building networks among health care providers in rural areas is important to ensuring care coordination, particularly for the high proportion of elderly who reside in rural areas, often with multiple chronic conditions.
